Community Counseling Center (CCC) is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) that since 1968 has offered short term, professional, sliding scale counseling to residents of SLO County that are uninsured.

The agency is looking to make greater contributions in the area of Prevention and Early Intervention (PEI) and thus is expanding services for youth.

If parents or youth are interested in counseling (or required by school contract to complete), the agency asks that all prospective clients contact our main agency line at (805) 543-7969 to speak with staff and schedule an intake assessment.

The agency line is staffed from 8:30 to 5:30pm Monday thru Friday. Intake appointments can generally be scheduled within 48 hours of the call and can be arranged in SLO, Grover Beach, or Paso Robles. Intakes are a flat $15.00 fee. Once a client has completed intake and been screened for suitability by myself or the Clinical Program Manager, then that client is assigned to a CCC therapist and contacted to schedule counseling and begin a 10-session intervention a rate determined by the families net household monthly income (most clients pay between 15.00 to 30.00 per session).

Some good news is that CCC recently acquired a facility in Grover Beach (200 13th Street, Suite #203) which will make it much easier for LMUSD referred students to receive community-based counseling.
