Welcome to the WEB page for Ocean View Elementary School. Home of the Cougars, Ocean View is a neighborhood school located between Grand Avenue and Highway 101 in Arroyo Grande, California. Our 25 credentialed teachers serve approximately 600 students. Our programs and curriculum are challenging and exciting! We have a wide range of programs to meet the needs and interests of our wide-range of students.  Some of the experiences offered for our learners are: Readers are Leaders, Project Wisdom, Character Counts,DestiNation Imagination, GATE, RSP, SDC, Social Skills Groups, Homework Club, and a yearly talent show. Our active and supportive PTA plans a range of annual events including:  the Harvest Festival, Math Night, assemblies and field trips for students, and fundraising events in conjunction with our generous community partners. Ocean View's community of parents, teachers and students work together to enable each student to do his/her academic best in a safe environment.
